Beacon Hospice Services Standards

  • We will regard each team member and our patients professionally and respectfully.

  • We place patients and families as our primary focus.

  • We listen to the needs of the patient as we develop and initiate the Plan of Care.

  • We admit patients with a physician's order within four hours, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

  • We contact patients every day, by visit or phone call.

  • We assess our patients for pain and symptoms at every visit by every discipline.

  • We resolve complaints within twenty-four hours.

  • We respond to patients' calls within fifteen minutes.

  • We contact the primary physician at least every week.

  • We provide on-going support to families after the patient's death.
