Beacon Hospice is offering a comprehensive 24- hour training of 7 weeks to help prepare interested individuals to become hospice volunteers. Throughout the training volunteers will be introduced to various staff who provide a team approach. Volunteers are supervised by a Volunteer Coordinator and supported by other members of the patients care team as well. Upon completion of the training you will recieve ID badges, medical bag, Beacon Hospice jacket and most of all, the opportunity to serve others.
