- Hospice Volunteer Training: 1/3/06-3/21/06
Hospice Volunteer Training at Gorham Adult Education will begin January 3, 2:30-5:30 p.m., and continue through March 21st at the Gorham Middle School, Gorham, Maine. For more information, please contact Donna Teague, (207)772-0929 or the Gorham Adult Education at 207-222-1095.

Beacon Hospice staff will provide this training covering such topics as the history and philosophy of hospice; death, dying and bereavement; the medical aspects of hospice; the hospice family and communication; spiritual aspects of hospice work; and the responsibilities and rewards of being a hospice volunteer. Please note, there will not be a class on February 21st.
