Thursday, October 30, 2008 (EST) - Volunteer Training

Hospice Volunteer Training Class begins October 28, 2008

We are offering a comprehensive training class in Weymouth to help prepare individuals to become Hospice volunteers. Training session begins October 28th at the Tufts Library at 6:00PM. Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through November 25th. Volunteers are key team members and supported by a coordinator. Throughout the training volunteers will be introduced to the team members: Social Worker, Chaplain, Bereavement Coordinator and nursing staff who will all contribute to the understanding of hospice and its approach to healthcare. Come make a profound difference in someone’s life as well as your own. Visit with a patient, write letters, play music or hold a hand-the possibilities are endless. Contact Kathy Creedon 508 747-7222 to register.
