Beacon Hospice needs volunteers to provide supportive care to our patients and their families. A comprehensive training class will be held in our Plymouth office beginning Monday evening, November 20. Upon completion, participants will receive a Hospice Training Certificate and most importantly, an opportunity to serve others. No matter who you are, you have something to offer. Hospice-related movies
Come and watch a movie exploring various topics related to death, grief, and illness. There will be discussion, snacks, and prizes. There is no cost. All films to be shown at Beacon Hospice, South Portland. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.
GLBT Grief Support Group
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 30th , 1-2:30 p.m. there will be a 6 week grief support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.
Saying Goodbye: The Loss of Animal Companions
