Tuesday, April 19, 2005 (EST) - S. Paris, Maine Volunteer Training

Hospice Volunteer Training
Market Square Heath Care Center
South Paris, Main

Beginning April 19th

Upcoming Volunteer Trainings.   All are welcome!  Join us for a fascinating 7-week course about volunteering for hospice.  We will explore the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying in our society today, and we will be introduced to each member of the hospice team: nurse, social worker, chaplain, bereavement counselor and volunteer coordinator.  Come be a part of this caring team who are helping to make the end-of-life journey a loving, comfortable and even joyous one for folks in our local communities.

Call Eileen Chretien at 207-784-4242 for an application and for more information.

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these.
