All are welcome! Join us for a fascinating 7-week course about volunteering for hospice. We will explore the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying in our society today.



All are welcome!  Join us for a fascinating 7-week course about volunteering for hospice.  We will explore the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying in our society today, and we will be introduced to each member of the hospice team: nurse, social worker, chaplain, bereavement counselor and volunteer coordinator.  Come be a part of this caring team who are helping to make the end-of-life journey a loving, comfortable and even joyous one for folks in our local communities.

  • CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP
    A Caregiver Support Group for anyone who is caring for a loved one will meet on six consecutive Mondays (beginning Nov. 10, 2008) from 1:30-3:00PM at the Plymouth Council on Aging. For more information, please call Scott A. Ciosek at 508-747-7222.

  • HEART FOR THE HOLIDAYS/Daytime and Evening Groups
    An eight week bereavement support group for those grieving a loss
    through death at this special time of year.


  • Adult Holiday Grief and Loss Group
    Starting Tuesdays, Oct. 28th , 10a.m.-noon there will be a 3 week grief support group for adults who are struggling with the holiday season and grief. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.
