A volunteer training class is scheduled to begin on July 2nd, 2008 (9:30 -12:00).
All classes will be held at The Sandwich Community School at Sandwich High School.

What is Hospice and How Can Volunteers Help?
Volunteers can serve in many ways including companionship, knitting/crocheting, sitting vigils, & scrap booking.

Widow/Widower Support Group
A confidential group available to any person who has lost a spouse or life partner. Offered in cooperation with Town of Stonington Human Services on Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Registration is required, contact Deb Kozisek, (860) 536-5601 ext. 24, or dkozisek@beaconhospice.com.

Receptionist
This position is accountable for general office clerical duties.

External Educator
Responsible for providing ongoing end-of-life educational opportunities within the community.

Central Intake Coordinator LPN
Responsible for processing patient referrals to Beacon Hospice.
