Tuesday, February 27, 2007 (EST) - Volunteer Training

Volunteer training will begin on Tuesday February 27th from 6:00PM- 8:30PM. We will meet every Tuesday for 5 weeks. It will take place at Beacon Hospice, 529 Main Street, Suite 101, Charlestown, MA. If interested, please contact Kelley Padgett at (617) 681-6131 or kpadgett@beaconhospice.com.



Beacon Hospice staff will provide this training covering such topics as the history and philosophy of hospice; death, dying and bereavement; the medical aspects of hospice; the hospice family and communication; spiritual aspects of hospice work; and the responsibilities and rewards of being a hospice volunteer.

    Responsible for establishing, updating, and communicating the visit schedule of all interdisciplinary staff members.

    Provide Palliative Care Services for our subsidiary Beacon Palliative Care Services, Inc.

  • RN Case Manager
    The RN Case Manager provides nursing care and hospice case management to hospice patients and families. Implements nursing interventions and coordinates the Patient/Family Interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
