Reviews and monitors compliance with medical record and documentation standards. Reviews the integrity of all documentation. Applies policies and procedures of the hospice and the rules and regulations of Federal and State regulatory agencies and standards of accrediting body in performing the reviews. Evaluates whether documentation accurately and completely demonstrates and supports the care provided. Collaborates with VP PI and assists with PI activities in assigned offices. PI coordinator may be assigned to multiple offices
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, currently licensed as a an RN or LPN in the state and in good standing with the Board.
Experience: Experience in health care, preferably hospice or home health services and/or PI ,CQI, or QA experience preferred. Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology helpful, but not required.
