Position: On Call Nurse Nights & weekends
Location: All Locations
Job Status: Full Time with benefits or Part Time
The On Call Nurse is responsible to provide after-hours nursing care to patients and supportive care to patients and families. Implements nursing interventions to promote symptom relief and attends to dying patients.

The On Call Nurse is responsible to provide after-hours nursing care to patients and supportive care to patients and families.  Implements nursing interventions to promote symptom relief and attends to dying patients.  Requires the ability to manage patient care with specific knowledge and experience in bedside nursing, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family intervention. Must have ability to work well with interdisciplinary team and healthcare provider.  Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Education:  Graduate of an accredited nursing program, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state and in good standing with the Board.
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing and/or certification in hospice preferred.
  • Experience:  Two (2) years experience in providing medical, surgical, oncology, or hospice nursing.
