Position: Palliative Care NP
Location: E Providence, RI & Portland/York, ME & Springfield, MA
Job Status: Full Time or Per Diem
Provide Palliative Care Services for our subsidiary Beacon Palliative Care Services, Inc.

Responsible to the Palliative Care Medical Director working in collaboration with a physician in an active palliative care practice to deliver palliative care and health care services to patients. The NP adheres to the regulatory process required by the State Board of Nursing and Federal Conditions of Participation.

 

Graduate of school approved or accredited by his/her respective professional associations or entities. Currently licensed as a RN and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state and in good standing with the Board.

 

Ability to manage patient care with specific knowledge and experience in bedside nursing, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family intervention. Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sensitivity to issues of loss and grief. Ability to deal  effectively with the demands of the job. Controlled substance license.
