Tuesday, October 28, 2008 (EST) - Adult Holiday Grief and Loss Group

Starting Tuesdays, Oct. 28th , 10a.m.-noon there will be a 3 week grief support group for adults who are struggling with the holiday season and grief. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.



Adults who have experienced loss and are fearful of “getting through the holidays” will have the opportunity to share, learn and get support.  We will use writing as a primary means of exploring and remembering. The group will be facilitated by Heather Thompson, Bereavement Field Coordinator at Beacon Hospice and will meet at the Carriage House of Home Instead located in Kennebunk. The meeting is intended to provide a safe environment for sharing thoughts and feelings, expressing sadness and pain, and beginning to find hope and healing. There is no charge for this group.
