Tuesday, September 30, 2008 (EST) - GLBT Grief Support Group

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 30th , 1-2:30 p.m. there will be a 6 week grief support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.



Adults who have experienced loss through death will have the opportunity to share, learn and get support around grieving.  The group will be facilitated by Heather Thompson, Bereavement Field Coordinator at Beacon Hospice and will meet at the offices of the Frannie Peabody Center located at Meadowbrook Plaza on Route 1 in York.  The meeting is intended to provide a safe environment for sharing thoughts and feelings, expressing sadness and pain, and beginning to find hope and healing.  There is no charge for this group.

    Responsible for processing patient referrals to Beacon Hospice.
