Mondays, starting January 22, 2007. The group will meet for four sessions every other week, ending March 5, 2007 and will meet from 6 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the South Portland office of Beacon Hospice located at 54 Atlantic Place, South Portland, Maine. Adults who have experienced the death of a loved one and have arrived at the place in their grief journey of looking ahead to “what’s next” for their futures, will have the opportunity to share and learn with other group members. The group will be facilitated by Heather Thompson, Bereavement Field Coordinator and Lynn Shattuck, Beacon Hospice volunteer. This closed group is intended to provide a safe environment for sharing thoughts and feelings, expressing sadness and pain, and beginning to find hope and healing.
