It is often a challenge to care for a family member or close friend who is totally dependant upon our care. It is often natural feel overwhelmed and to experience feelings of anxiety, frustration, anger, fatigue, guilt, and/or loneliness.
How do caregivers maintain a sense of hope? How do we care for ourselves while caring for others? This presentation will help all of us address these important issues and reflect on our own lived experience of caring for ourselves while caring for others.
If you are caring for a loved one, our weekly group will offer a safe and supportive place for you to “pull away” and to share your experience of being a caregiver in a confidential and supportive environment.
