Wednesday, October 13, 2010 (EST) - ALZHEIMER’S CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

Group will meet special challenges of caretakers. Held the second Wednesday of each month. First meeting July, 14, 2010 2:00 pm at John Wesley Methodist Church, Falmouth, MA. Please call Jackie Powers, 508-778-1622 for information and registration. No fee to attend.



The focus of this group is to provide mutual emotional support and education regarding the special challenges that caregivers experience.  The group will provide speakers, information and tools to help those who care for others to practice self -care.

Group will be facilitated by Jackie Powers, MSW LCSW, Beacon Hospice Bereavement Coordinator.  Pre-registration is requested to insure ample literature for all attendees.  To register, get directions, contact Jackie Powers at 508-778-1622, jpowers@beaconhospice.com.  The group will continue to meet once a month at John Wesley Methodist Church, 260 Gifford Street, Falmouth, MA.  Upcoming speakers will include an elder care attorney, and representatives of the Alzheimer’s Association.

    Responsible for establishing, updating, and communicating the visit schedule of all interdisciplinary staff members.

    Provide Palliative Care Services for our subsidiary Beacon Palliative Care Services, Inc.

  • RN Case Manager
    The RN Case Manager provides nursing care and hospice case management to hospice patients and families. Implements nursing interventions and coordinates the Patient/Family Interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
