Monday, July 20, 2009 (EST) - Healing Hands, 6 week caregivers support group

Group support to meet special challenges of caretakers. Mondays 7/20/09- 8/24/09, 10:30 -11:30 am, Held at Eastham Senior Center. Please call Jackie Powers, 508-778-1622 for information and registration. No fee to attend.



The focus of this group is to provide mutual emotional support and education regarding the special challenges that caregivers experience. The group will provide information and tools to help those who care for others to practice self -care.   
Group will be facilitated by Jackie Powers, MSW LCSW, Beacon Hospice Bereavement Coordinator. Pre-registration is requested to insure ample literature for all attendees. To register, contact Jackie Powers at 508-778-1622,
jpowers@beaconhospice.com. Healing Hands will meet from 10:30 – 11:30 am on Mondays at the Eastham Senior Center, beginning July 20, 2009.

    Provide Palliative Care Services for our subsidiary Beacon Palliative Care Services, Inc.

  • RN Case Manager
    The RN Case Manager provides nursing care and hospice case management to hospice patients and families. Implements nursing interventions and coordinates the Patient/Family Interdisciplinary Plan of Care.

  • Hospice Aide / CHHA
    The Hospice Aide provides personal care under the supervision of the RN Case Manager.
