Thursday, June 21, 2007 (EST) - Life After Loss Six Week Support Group

A six week support group offering hope and healing after the loss of a loved one.



Group begins on Thursday, June 21 through July 26 at 1-2:30 PM at the Council on Aging, Southboro, MA.  Please call 1-508-229-4453 for directions.

Registration for the group is required by calling Judith Chaloux, Bereavement Coordinator at 508-875-1380.

  • Hospice-related movies
    Come and watch a movie exploring various topics related to death, grief, and illness. There will be discussion, snacks, and prizes. There is no cost. All films to be shown at Beacon Hospice, South Portland. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.

  • GLBT Grief Support Group
    Starting Tuesday, Sept. 30th , 1-2:30 p.m. there will be a 6 week grief support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.

  • Saying Goodbye: The Loss of Animal Companions
    One Monday a month alternating between South Portland and York locations. The first group meets on September 15, 2008, 5:30 -7:00p.m at the South Portland office. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.

    Responsible for processing patient referrals to Beacon Hospice.
