- Autumn HOPE Gathering/Memory Meal 10/25/07
This gathering is for anyone who has participated in the Harbors of Hope grief program. The Hope Gathering is a time to honor and celebrate you and your courage!

This Autumn gathering is inspired from the lessons of the season. Our blessings of love will be celebrated by giving thanks with a memory meal. In a memory meal each participant brings a dish or treat that reminds them of their loved one or was something they once enjoyed. Anything from nut bowls to pies is accepted. All family and friends are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Liz Mearkle at 508.324.1900 by 10/8 with the information about what and who you are bringing. I look forward to seeing you there to celebrate your courage and to share thanks. All ages are welcome!

Hospice-related movies
Come and watch a movie exploring various topics related to death, grief, and illness. There will be discussion, snacks, and prizes. There is no cost. All films to be shown at Beacon Hospice, South Portland. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.
GLBT Grief Support Group
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 30th , 1-2:30 p.m. there will be a 6 week grief support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.
Saying Goodbye: The Loss of Animal Companions
