Free, 6 week, Young Adult Loss grief support group, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 p.m., Brighton-Allston Mental Health Association, Brighton, MA

Free, 6 week, Young Adult Loss grief support group to be held Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Brighton Allston Mental Health Association in Brighton, MA beginning 2/13/08. Facilitated by Valerie Epstein-Johnson, mental health counselor, Registered Art Therapist, and Bereavement Field Coordinator in Beacon Hospice’s Charlestown office. This group will give young adults aged 18-30 with any type of loss of a friend or loved one the opportunity to learn about “the grief process,” learn important coping skills, and share their experience of grief with others who understand. Group will be held in the 1st floor Group Room at Brighton Allston Mental Health, Building #2 inside the Brighton Marine Health Center at 77B Warren St. in Brighton, near the Green “B” line Warren St. stop on the MBTA on 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19.
