Free 6 week, Mixed Adult Loss grief support group, Mondays 5:30-7:00 p.m., Belmont United Methodist Church, Belmont, MA

Free, 6 week, Mixed Adult Loss grief support group to be held Mondays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church (Imler House) in Belmont, MA beginning 2/11/08. Facilitated by Valerie Epstein-Johnson, mental health counselor, registered art therapist, and Bereavement Field Coordinator in Beacon Hospice’s Charlestown office. This group will give adults with any type of loss of a loved one the opportunity to learn about “the grief process,” learn important coping skills, and share their experience of grief with others who understand. Group will be held at Imler House, across the driveway from Belmont United Methodist Church at 421 Common St., Belmont, MA 02478 on 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17. Accessible by bus.
