“Providing Harbors of Hope among the waves of grief”: Sharing with people who have had a similar sorrow and learning about the grief process can help you get through the holidays and dispel those holiday blues. Why not come and be with us at our bereavement support group?



Holiday Support Group Offered By Beacon Hospice’s

Harbors of Hope Bereavement Program

The holiday season can be extremely stressful for those who have lost loved ones.  You may find yourself dreading the holidays and feeling unsure and overwhelmed with how to cope with the upcoming holiday season.  If you have experienced the death of a loved one, please join us as we share our losses, develop coping strategies, and move toward healing in a supportive, confidential environment.

 Wednesday Evenings:   December 20th - February 7th  

from 6:00pm to 7:30pm

At Beacon Hospice

  • CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP
    A Caregiver Support Group for anyone who is caring for a loved one will meet on six consecutive Mondays (beginning Nov. 10, 2008) from 1:30-3:00PM at the Plymouth Council on Aging. For more information, please call Scott A. Ciosek at 508-747-7222.

  • HEART FOR THE HOLIDAYS/Daytime and Evening Groups
    An eight week bereavement support group for those grieving a loss
    through death at this special time of year.


  • Adult Holiday Grief and Loss Group
    Starting Tuesdays, Oct. 28th , 10a.m.-noon there will be a 3 week grief support group for adults who are struggling with the holiday season and grief. There is no cost for this group. Please contact Heather Thompson at 207-772-0929 for more information and to register.

    This position is accountable for general office clerical duties.

  • External Educator
    Responsible for providing ongoing end-of-life educational opportunities within the community.

  • Admissions/Intake Coordinator LPN
    Responsible for processing patient referrals to Beacon Hospice.
