Establishing new partnerships

Beacon Hospice recognizes the increasing pressures faced by hospitals, nursing homes, and other institutions that provide patients with acute care.  We're not just a safety net for these organizations - we're a partner. The costs of caring for the aging population will continue to increase as they face their mortality.

Hospitals and nursing homes will need to find new ways to provide quality care, while keeping the costs manageable.  Quality hospice care will become critically important -- a new reality.

Caregivers -- physicians, clinicians, hospice-care providers, and families -- must collaborate in order to provide patients with dignified, compassionate care.  As the population grows older and begins to expect higher-quality end-of-life care, it will become important that hospitals, nursing homes, and state laws do all that they can to support hospice care.

Caring for end-stage patients is our specialty, and providing the highest level of patient care is our aspiration.  Take advantage of our expertise.  Contact Beacon Hospice to discuss our comprehensive programs for improving the quality of end-of-life care for the benefit of all.

'... there is no one definition of a good death; quality end-of-life care is a dynamic process that is negotiated among patients, families, and healthcare professionals; a process moderated by individual values, knowledge, and preferences for care.'

Medical Association
